The Glass Hammock: Poems from the Rainforest

In 1995, David Ward undertook a five-week journey to the rainforests of the Amazonas region of South America, which he recorded in a journal that gradually developed into a collection of poems, The Glass Hammock, first published in 2012. These poems, read by the artist, together with sound recordings made in the rainforest formed the heart of this performance.
